Everyone is different, so I aim to tailor my teaching to my students. Whether that's through diagrams and pictures, or flashcards and mindmaps, I adapt my style in order to allow my students to gain the best results.

I have a small amount of experience, having tutored a group of year 3 to 6 students in english and maths. I believe I am a good tutor because I am patient and I don't give up easily. If my current way of teaching is not working then I am willing to try other techniques to achieve the best outcome. I can explain myself clearly and simply and I am organised.

The first lessons acts as a gauge for me to see where students are struggling. My lessons will mainly involve completing practise questions and using the questions to highlight areas of weakness which we can then work on together. My homework consists of consolidating the lessons work in preparation for the following lesson so we keep pace and don't fall behind.

I am very familiar with exam boards, having completed my own exams not too long ago
