I am a teacher, ITT mentor and Faculty Leader in training, based in Nottinghamshire Outstanding New Teacher of the Year award recipient BSc Chemistry at University of Nottingham. My teaching style is simple; we go through the content, we explain why it's important together and then we run through past exam questions. Let's get ourselves ready for exam day!

I have been tutoring for two years now. Every night after school and I enjoy coming home and having the one-to-one time for somebody who is willing to learn and get themselves ready for exams. I'm an outgoing personality and build professional relationships fast with tutees effortlessly.

Lesson plans in school (and tutoring) start with recall from the previous session. Then new information. Check understanding - have you understood what we have done so far? Practice - Exam Questions! That is your 'bread and butter' for your qualification, so why not focus on this? Review (2-3 mins) - Are you now more confident? If not, why not? How can we improve for the next session?
