I have taught year 7 to A Level at London and Heartfordshire secondary schools since 2018. I have also prepared students for Pre-university courses.
During my lessons, I make use of question and answer techniques and going through exam questions to tackle skills which prepare my students for every possible type of question. I have been a tutor since 2015 and I have also been a mathematics teacher for a maternity role in the channel Islands (Guernsey) in 2017.
To explain tricky concepts, I often use comparisons and analogies, especially if we are covering new material which the student has not encountered before. This helps them to make links with previously acquired material. I like to explore different ways of learning whether visual, audio, kinesthetic or digital.
I always extend my pupils' knowledge and confidence through homework, so that they can work independently.
I have taught in many different settings, beginning from a tuition centre during my final year at University to teaching in London and Hertfordshire schools and even got the chance to travel to Guernsey, Channel Islands for a term! I enjoy home tutoring as I feel I can really build up the pupil's confidence and help them with their specific targets.
3 years of tution experience teaching many different pupils and abilities. My feedback has been excellent all round.
Long term clients for 1 year + and track record of pupil progression.
During my tuition and teaching work I always tailor make my lesson plans to suit pupil ability and learning styles.

Student Success Stories
Through my specialist help, I have ensured that many students have gained their qualifications. Some of my most rewarding achievements have been a dyslexic pupil securing a distinction at 18+ studies, an A grade in Mathematics from a previously C grade student, and a grade 5 from an underachieving student.
