Carrie-anne S

I am a qualified chemistry teacher with experience teaching chemistry at KS3, GCSE and A-level. I am passionate about science and believe that understanding how science is used in "real life" fosters interest and improves understanding of the subject. I have several years of experience in teaching chemistry, and have developed a wide variety of methods to make an often difficult subject understandable. I also believe that humour has an important place in learning, and have a large amount of (I think!) hilarious jokes and memory tricks to help remember all those tricky facts and formulas. My postgraduate education has given me excellent practical knowledge which enables me to provide help with the practical aspect of the new linear A-levels. I also have experience teaching maths, biology and physics at GCSE, and science at KS3. I am very patient and don't mind how often you feel you need to go over something, I'll do my best to find a way to make it stick!
