I am a qualified teacher and have taught at two impressive Outstanding rated Sixth Form colleges. I have a Bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Liverpool and a Masters in Health psychology from Liverpool John Moores. I am currently working as a psychological therapist for the NHS as well as tutoring part time.

I have tutored for 6 years both online and face to face and have been teaching in sixth forms for three years.

Once I’ve set up a schedule with the student I plan lessons using the exam boards specification and scheme of work as well as focusing on the needs of the student on a week to week basis. I use a mix of technology (PowerPoint, Quizlet, Plickers, Kahoot) and resources to deliver these lessons, guiding my students towards knowledge rather than talking at them. I find this method is successful for all levels of students and I've had excellent successes with ASD and LD students using these methods.
