Dhru G

Physics with Astrophysics Masters graduate looking to tutor with the aim of completing a PGCE the next academic year.

I would be a good tutor as I have the required subject knowledge up to a masters level and am a hardworking individual with good time management skills. I have informal experience tutoring Mathematics and Physics at a GCSE level with good results.

Lesson structures will be dependant upon the length of the sessions. For shorter sessions (~1 hour) I will focus on going through the planned material with example problems prepared pertaining to that topic (going through the problems when needed). For longer sessions past papers can be gone through together, covering both how to tackle problems individually as well as general good exam technique. For the first session assessing the student's knowledge would be preferable and homework may be set in some instances, not on a regular basis.
