I am a friendly and enthusiastic science and Maths tutor. I have personal experience studying Biology, Chemistry and Maths to A-level and then continued to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Biology at Imperial College London. Pursuing my research interest, I worked as a Research Technician in a malaria lab at Imperial. Alongside lab work, this job included supervising and teaching undergraduate and Master's students. I then completed a Masters degree in Tropical Disease Biology at Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, where I have now started a PhD. I am bilingual (English and Swedish) so am also happy to teach Swedish. My teaching style will of course depend on the student but I've always found that practical worksheets and problem solving together are a useful tool to make sure we know where we're up to. I aim to help with learning the curriculum but also hopefully with interest in the subject!

Over the past 6 years I have tutored students of all levels in Science and Maths, both online and in person.

The structure of the lesson often depends on the student however, generally, I begin with a short assessment of the students current knowledge and then agree some objectives for the session. I will then teach the curriculum, using interactive and visual tools. The final section of the lesson usually involves past exam questions and exam technique.
