My primary and secondary education, as well as my undergraduate and masters degrees is in biology and my doctorate in Environmental biology at the University of Aberdeen. With 8 years of teaching experience, encompassing all secondary school levels, as well as University level. Worked at the University of Aberdeen as an AFHE associate fellow in the UK, where i was certified as a practical demonstrator for undergraduate biology students.

Tutoring was a lot of fun for me, but it also demands a lot of patience and understanding on my part. I am confident and well-equipped to educate students studying biology for KS3, GSCE, A level, as well as Nat 4, Nat 5, Higher, and Advanced Higher Biology, and help student prepare for examinations.

In the case of personal tutoring, I will check the student's comprehension of several key concepts and assess his/her level of understanding during my first meeting. That will give me an idea of the areas that require strengthening. I provide homework so students can learn inbetween lessons, and consolidate what has been done in the lesson. However, the homework depends on the willingness of the learner.

I have also participated as a member of the board of examiners at a University setting for 4 years at the Department of Biological sciences.

Most of the students i taught at the secondary school level are currently engineers, medical doctors, biochemist, Nurses etc and are doing quite well in their respective disciplines
