Giorgia B

My name is Giorgia. I am a 22-year-old Italian postgraduate student living in London. I have BA Honours degree in English literature and currently doing a masters in 18th century English literature. I attended high school in Italy where I was awarded a language diploma (English, French and German are the languages I studied); however, during high school I have also attended compulsory classes in many other subjects such as History, Geography, Philosophy, Chemistry, Religion Studies, Physics, Maths, Italian literature and grammar studies. I already have some experience with tutoring as I did tutor 12-13 years old students on various subjects.

I tutored 12-13 year-old students on various subjects

I usually talk with my student and I will plan the tutoring sessions based on what he feels more comfortable with and what helps him learn best. I would also like to have a list of the topics and assessments from the student in advance so that I can properly organise the session and be able to revise the topics myself in order to offer the student the best preparation I can give him.

I helped two students who both struggled with English and were almost failing their courses and managed to help them pass their courses as well as achieve a good result too.
