Hannah B

Hi, I'm Hannah and I'm a recent graduate of the University of Nottingham with a 2:1 in History and Politics. I can tutor students studying History (KS3, GCSE, A-Level) and Politics (A-Level). In GCSE History, I achieved a Grade 8 and at A-Level I achieved A* in History and A* in Government and Politics. I know from my own experience of taking these subjects, that they can be overwhelming - especially the exams! I can help students with their exam preparation - in particular, how to construct answers for exam questions.

Previously, I have tutored GCSE History, and the student achieved a Grade 7. In the tutoring sessions I would support the student by reinforcing knowledge learnt in lessons at school; help with exam technique and how to answer and structure exam questions; supported revision in preparation of tests, mocks and exams.

I appreciate everyone learns in different ways. Some students prefer just to reinforce what was taught in class whereas others want support in exam preparation. Therefore, a conversation prior to starting sessions is beneficial, so I know what the goal of the session is along with the important information of subjects, topics, exam boards, etc.
