I currently study Automotive Engineering at the University of Surrey, which I gained a place at by taking Maths, Physics and Design and Technology at A-Level gaining A, B, B respectably.
I myself and Dyslexic so when I teach I like to find interesting and unusual ways of explaining things, especially in physics where some concepts might be harder to understand.
Practical ways of thinking I feel are the best ways of understanding as they provide some context to the material being learnt. This then can lead on to real world projects, such as with me during my year 8 summer holidays I built a scale ride on railway in my garden at home
I have spent the previous year personal tutoring multiple different students a week, at points up to 8 different students in a week. This was in an effort to improve my 1 on 1 tutoring as I am used to group situations.
I have always enjoyed the teaching I do in the summer and would like to continue this into my term at university.
5 year of classroom based teaching of coding and electronics with TechCamp.
2 years of personal tutoring
I like to plan a general structure with the lessons that they are based around, however I am happy to go off piste if I think it will be relevant.
