I work as a Maths Teacher and a Head of Department in a school that is rated 'Good with outstanding features' by Ofsted. I have a huge passion for teaching Maths well, and take pride in seeing learners make progress. I previously worked in Banking, so as part of my teaching style I try as much as possible to show where Maths fits in the real world. I have over 5 years of experience and regularly have my students achieving above and beyond their potential. I tutor students studying for GCSE or 11+. I am from Prestwich and can travel to nearby areas or teach online.

As a fully qualified teacher I am fully aware of the importance of lesson planning. All my lessons are tailored to the individual. Every pupil is different and has their own particular needs.

Mainly Edexcel but I have experience with AQA and OCR

I have managed to work with students to reach at least 2 grades above their predicted in every GCSE circumstance.
