I studied Maths until Advanced Higher level and achieved excellent grades in both subjects at all levels. Throughout school, I have always strived to achieve the best possible outcome in exams and will encourage my students to do the same. I will do my best to engage and motivate each student by adapting my lessons to their ability. This will allow them to gain as much as they can from my lessons.

I am new to tutoring, however I believe I will be a good tutor as I am patient and willing to listen to the priorities and needs of each individual student. I have previously worked with younger people in dance classes and in younger years at school.

Firstly, I will ask each student what they believe their strengths and weaknesses are, then use these to create a lesson structure which will be the most valuable to them. I am aware of different revision techniques and will work to find one that works for each individual student, in order to help them complete their exams to the best of their potential. I will ensure I have regular discussions with each of my students to make sure they are on the right track, or to amend the content or style of teaching if they feel they are not.

Having only left high school in 2020, I would say that my experience of both National 5 and Higher Scottish exams is fairly recent.
