I’m an 19 year old student of History and Spanish at University. I love learning languages and am spending my third year in South America to extend my understanding of Latin American culture. As well as this, I am a big history buff and spend much of my free time reading history books. I plan to continue with history at Postgraduate level following my undergraduate degree. Aside from this, I love to cook and bake, run at least once a week and am training for a half-marathon. In the summer I am trekking Mount Kilimanjaro to raise money for Hope for Children, a charity dedicated to tackling child poverty. Overall I am a friendly, relaxed and intellectually curious student who is happy to dedicate time to helping others with their studies.

I have spent time in my school tutoring younger years, especially in Spanish but also English and history. I have several younger cousins and have been mentoring them all through their school journeys.

My lessons will include several parts. Lessons will begin with going through any questions the student has. I will provide worksheets to go through with the student and help them strengthen a particular weak spot in their studies. I will provide homework every session and for Spanish will hold a vocabulary or grammar quiz each lesson. Nearer to exam season I will also provide mock exams to do and will then spend time with the student going through the solutions. This structure is highly practical and will quickly ensure that the student understands all aspects of the course in depth.
