Hello! I hope to provide a laid back approach to learning and during my tutoring. I have previously tutored both A level and GCSE in one to one environments. At A level I took psychology, biology and chemistry and I hope to pass on a wider understanding and appreciation for science through my lessons.

Previously I have undergone training and then successfully taught GCSE science in a school to small groups or singular pupils. Further to this, I have helped to tutor A level chemistry students in the run up to their exams particularly through the use of past paper questions and exam technique. Finally I am currently acting as a mentor to first year students at my university helping with content from lectures that they may find challenging by leading a small group working through a problem set.

Before going in to teach at school it was vital that I had the whole hour planned out and the content being covered in the lectures was fresh in my mind. However, in my opinion when tutoring it is my opinion that changing lesson plans to suit the individual needs of the learner is more successful allowing learning at a comfortable pace.
