I have just returned to Sheffield to study for my Masters of Chemical Engineering (MEng) . For the last year I have been working at a combustion engineering firm as an Assistant Project Engineer. I have always enjoyed Science and Maths and they've always been my academic strength. Due to my course and job, I now use some of the principles taught at secondary school and college daily to solve engineering problems. I am keen to help students develop their skills in these subjects to achieve whatever targets they wish to aim for. I am a naturally friendly and open person, which I hope makes students feel relaxed and ready to ask questions whenever an explanation is unclear or a topic is confusing.

As a GCSE student, I tutored maths and science to a Year 7/8 pupil to keep him at the same point as the rest of his class. I worked as a ski instructor for 3 months in Austria. I was in charge of groups of children between 3 and 16 years old, of multiple languages and would spend 3 to 5 days with the same group taking them around the mountain, teaching them skiing verbally and through drills whilst keeping it fun to engage the students.
