Teaching Science for over 20 years in both NZ and UK has given me a wide variety of experience and knowledge to help students get the best out of themselves and achieve to the best of their ability. I enjoy helping students increase their achievement in education through nurturing and holding them accountable to working and learning to the bet of their ability. I have learned a variety of techniques to help students do this and have worked successfully with a wide variety of achievement levels and abilities of these students.

20 years of tutoring individuals and small groups of student both in New Zealand and in UK. Subjects tutored include KS3 Science and individual sciences (Chemistry, Physics, Biology) and Maths KS3

Each lesson is prepared bespokely for each student to ensure the best learning experience for them. Often including practical examples/experiments to help the student understand the concepts and learnings of the topics being covered. Often I will set homework to be completed before the next lesson to help embed the learnings and make sure that the concepts are fully understood. Where necessary I will get eh student to complete past exam papers of the exam board they are using to help both prepare the student for answering questions under pressure and help them improve their exam technique and to practice the sort of terms they should be using in their answers to show the examiners that they have a good understanding of the topics being examined.
