I am a fully qualified teacher and tutor with over 20 years' experience in teaching and tutoring. I can help in all primary subjects, SATs preparation, 11+ exam preparation, CE or scholarship exam preparation, up to grade 9 GCSE in Maths, Further Maths, Statistics and Sciences, psychometric testing and UKCAT preparation. I also offer tuition for those who attend school, home educated students and adult learners both in the UK and overseas. Contact me and together we can devise a strategy that works for you.

I have over 18 years' experience as a classroom teacher; teaching in the primary sector initially, before specialising in maths and science at Year 7, then teaching maths up to GCSE. Since becoming a private tutor in 2015, I have worked mainly on a 1-to-1 basis with an extremely wide range of students. I have worked with students as young as 6 years, up to and including adult learners. I have worked with local UK students, UK students based further afield, overseas students currently studying in UK schools and overseas students studying in their home-country. The subjects I have experience of tutoring are Maths, Sciences, and Geography up to GCSE, all primary subjects, 11+/grammar & 13+, scholarship exam preparation, ISEB Common Entrance, Common-Entrance Pre-Test, UKiset preparation with overseas students, psychometric testing, Professional Skills Test for trainee teachers, & UK Clinical Aptitude Test (UKCAT) preparation, and ESOL tuition. I have experience of both face-to-face & online tuition using Skype & Zoom.

I am passionate about helping students in aspects of their study that they find challenging. I am supportive and caring, believing that strong foundations and confidence in the subject being studied are paramount to making progress. I will devise a bespoke, personalised learning programme that will allow you to meet your learning goals and individual learning styles. I offer face-to-face or online lessons using Skype or Zoom.
