I am a second year Economics student having achieved A*A*A*A in Maths, Economics, Further Maths and French respectively in my A-levels. Having recently left school, I can relate to the students and understand the main challenges they may have with each of these subjects and know how to overcome these, sharing my experience to overall improve their grades and understanding of the subject.

As well as over 100 hours of individual tutoring experience, I have experience in teaching students in small classes at a secondary school and was an academic mentor during my time in 6th form. I understand the challenges of learning and understanding new concepts and have the ability to explain concepts in a manageable, coherent manner so that the concept is understood, and any questions are answered accordingly to achieve the desired results.

The first lesson will consist of an assessment to understand the strengths and weaknesses of the student. The subsequent lessons will then be planned to focus and improve the areas of weakness and any other areas that the student wants help with, including a strong focus on exam techniques. Each session will consist of a re-cap of the previous lesson, followed by some theory, finishing with some exam style questions, with homework set after the lesson to reinforce their understanding.
