I currently work at a centre for tutorial services and I cover SATS and 11 Plus entrance exam preparation, Key stage 1-3 tuition, and GCSE tuition. My experience as a private tutor currently spans over 4 years. For my GCSEs I obtained an A-A* in Maths, English Language, English Literature, Biology, Physics, Chemistry and coupled with my extensive tuition experience i find myself familiar with the syllabus for each of these subjects for most exam boards. Having also had private tuition myself i understand the stresses and difficulties involved in preparing for exams and how different approaches to learning can change your outlook on education and how the right mentor can help take you further than you realised

My experience teaching dates back to before i finished my GCSE's where i was helping primary school children with tutoring. I am currently a part time tutor at a centre for Tutorial Services, as well as running my own private tutorial business offering one-to-one maths, sciences and english tuition upto GCSE level.

My teaching method is to always give each student a check list of all the topics they need to cover for the subject so they can keep track of everything they have learnt, how well they're doing in each topic and what they need to improve on. I spend each lesson covering one, two or even three topics in depth and print or email worksheets and practise exam questions to each student so they can put the revision into action or go through worksheets and exam questions with them in my lessons.

My experience tutoring for GCSE's has lead me to a familiarity with most exam boards such as AQA, OCR and Edexcel
