I graduated this year from the University of Cambridge with a 2:1 in my engineering masters, and have been mentoring secondary school students since sixth form. With a strong background in sports coaching and refereeing, in my spare time I’m incredible passionate about accessibility to sport and women in STEM subjects!

I have experience covering GCSE and A-Level content in a range of STEM (and other) subjects, and can also cover preparatory content for those heading on to start at university. I’m happy to cover whole courses over a period of time or specific one-off sessions if there’s one point you just can’t get your head around. Mechanics, statistics, algebra, geometry, pure maths, decision maths, fluid mechanics, astrophysics, linear algebra, vibrations, materials sciences and operations engineering are some of the areas I’ve helped out with before, but let me know if there’s anything similar which might be of help!

I take pride in being able to adapt my sessions to make sure students get the most out of their time, making sure that I’ve got resources organised beforehand and a sense of how we can go through them; whether it’s through questions to learn equations or drawing pictures to understand the theory behind them. I’ve worked with a huge range of students in both academics and sporting capacities, and believe strongly that everyone learns best in a scenario where they feel supported and motivated to push themselves.
