In my lessons I will work to explain topics you are struggling with in new ways until you are confident with them. We will work through content using study techniques proven to produce the best results, such as active recall and spaced repetition. I will work to tailor my approach to your individual needs.

I am a medical student with A levels in French, Biology and Chemistry. I have previously taught GCSE students Maths, English and Science both one-on-one and in groups. I also worked as a swimming teacher for three years, so am used to teaching children of all ages.

My lessons follow a plan to ensure we make the most of the time. Lessons will begin by recapping and reviewing what was learnt in the previous lesson. The bulk of the lesson will then be working through new/challenging content. Lessons include quizzes and practice questions to ensure students are actively engaging with the material. At the end of each lesson students can request things they would like to review in the next lesson, and I will plan my lessons accordingly. Students may be set tasks to do in between lessons, to ensure ongoing learning.
