I am a gap year student offering 11+ prep and English tutoring. I just received my A Level results (A*A*A) after attending Alleyn's School in South London. I was an academic scholar when I joined the school in 2013 and have since volunteered tutoring children from ages 6 to 10 in creative writing, reading, maths and music at local schools in Southwark and Lambeth.

I have volunteered tutoring maths English and music in local primary schools in Southwark and Lambeth as well as assisting at a school for children with special needs in Lewisham. This, along with my own tutoring for my 11+ exams has given me a holistic view of how to adapt to individuals based on their needs and draw upon my own experiences to share what is most helpful.

I am keen to base lessons around what I feel would best benefit the student and believe that patience and encouragement, as well as consistent practice, are the keys to helping an individual succeed. It is for these reasons that l will devise lesson and homework plans once I have met the individual child.
