I am currently starting my gap year before starting my Law and Business degree. I am a passionate and enthusiastic tutor with experience of working with pupils of all ages and abilities. I have an ability of building positive relationships with pupils and I pride myself on building pupil confidence and resilience to ensure that each student makes significant progress.

I have been tutoring for 2 years now, originally in a centre with children from KS1 to GCSE where I could teach many different types of learners and ensure each child was progressing at their own rate. I now privately tutor KS3 students in person and am able to build bonds that help them to want to learn. I am very proficient in teaching KS1-GCSE Maths and KS1-GCSE English language/ literature. As well as A-Level Sociology.

In the first lesson I like to go over a range of topics to see where the weaker areas lie or follow up on any things the student may have not understood at school. I set homework according to the prior commitments the student has so on a busy week for them I will set one or two questions but over a half term/ holiday i will set a small assessment.
