Maximilien R

Born and raised in Bordeaux, France by British parents. I have lived in France my whole life and have recently moved to Bristol to further my studies.

I have given English lessons to younger pupils in my school in France.

The lesson will usually start off with a 10 minute test & recap from the previous lesson. 25 minutes of learning new vocabulary, conjugation, grammar, spelling, pronunciation. 25 minutes of applying what we have learned through oratory skills, usually discussions and role-play. I believe that it is by speaking the language, familiarising ourselves with it and gaining the confidence to talk it that we learn best. The lesson will close with a fun fact about French culture or history to improve the student's general culture. Homework would be to revise what was learned during the lesson in order to be prepared for the test and the start of the next lesson.
