Paige S

Cambridge educated GCSE & A Level Tutor Available in person or on line. My name is Paige and I am currently available to take on any students looking to improve their grades in either English Literature/Language, History, or Classical Civilisations A Levels/GCSEs. In addition to this, I am also happy to provide advice to those applying in any subject to Russel Group Universities, including specific advice on applying to Oxford or Cambridge. This includes feedback on UCAS personal statements, as well as preparing students for admissions assessments and interview. Following graduation, I trained in teaching degree level students College Writing at the University of Massachusetts. From 2018 to 2020 I worked with a range of students from primary age to A Level as part of my job raising aspirations and attainment in Admissions and Access at the University of Cambridge. This involved running activities and taster sessions designed to improve students’ grades, as well as giving advice on university choice, applications, personal statements, and more. Alongside this, I have ~ 3 year’s tutoring experience, having both tutored through my degree and afterwards. Happy to tutor students in years 7,8,9 also. My pupils in the past have found me friendly and approachable, with a real passion for the subjects I tutor. I have a vested interest in those I work with doing well, and hopefully inheriting the enjoyment I hold in these areas.
