Want to know how I raised my grades from an "E" to an "A*" in my GCSEs? I'll share you my secrets! I have been at the bottom of my class before and I know exactly how that feels. As your tutor, I will motivate you to work harder and become the best version of yourself! I am now pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering at University. Who knew an "E" student could be an Engineer!
I've tutored 3 Year 10 students Chemistry and Physics in which they received grades of A*-B. I've also tutored 6 Year 8-10 students Maths and English.
For the first lesson, I would do a get to know session and then a quick quiz just to see how far you've gone in the syllabus. We will be following the GCSE and A level syllabuses. There will be some topics that I will teach you ahead of time that may not be needed in the exam, but will help you in your next academic year and aid you to understand some of the other topics. After covering each topic, we will do worksheets and exam style questions to familiarise ourselves with the question paper.
Once we have covered everything on the syllabus, we will begin mock examinations which I call "trials". Homework will be minimal as I do not want to disturb your school life, however, if you prefer to have more homework, I will give it to you. Most homework given will take up to 1.5 hours to complete at most.
Exam Board Experience
I am highly experienced with the exam boards as I have done them myself and have tutored others with the same syllabus to prepare them for their own examinations. I am proud to say that none of my students have ever failed.
Student Success Stories
My past students that I have tutored have received great scores ranging from B-A* with one of them now pursuing a degree in Nutrition in Spain. I myself achieved an A in my A levels Chemistry and an A* in my GCSE Chemistry.
