Biography
I tutor GCSE level, I prefer to be flexible and like my students to tell me where the strengths and weaknesses lie. I approach topics by ensuring the student understands the concept and isn't simply just able to regurgitate information, this helps them to apply their knowledge in exam questions. Once the concept is understood I will then help my students to apply their knowledge to questions on the topic.

Lesson Planning
My lessons consist of initially identifying areas within a particular topic where the student struggles, then working on these areas and combining them with the students stronger areas to piece together the core knowledge jigsaw. Once this is complete it is then cemented by using exam questions to allow the student to apply their knowledge to different scenarios, for me this is the most important aspect.
