Raul G

Hi, my name is Raul. Three years ago I graduated from university with a zoology degree. After graduating I did some charity work, where I led up a team of student volunteers to the summit of Kilimanjaro which was one of the best experiences I've had. Since then I have worked as a researcher and in the financial industry whilst tutoring in my spare time. I'm also a marital arts instructor and have been for nine years now.

I have been tutoring for five years now (since 2014) when I started at university, doing it as a way to earn some extra income. I've taught students of different ages and backgrounds and my method usually involves getting to know the student really well to know what method of teaching is best and to focus on areas which they are weakest. I like to try and be that person that the student can come to with any problem they might be having with their studies.

Like I mentioned previously, I alter my lessons to fit the student and their preferred of learning. I plan my lessons by focusing one on topic specifically, using PowerPoint to create exercises, tools the students can use and break-downs of exam questions.
