Hi! I'm a palaeontologist currently working on my PhD at the University of Bath. I love science, specifically biology, but I also love English literature and maths. I have previously tutored both school-age and university-level students, and I like to make lessons fun and immersive.

I have taught university-level students in a practical classroom environment, and school pupils in a small group or one-on-one setting. I enjoy engaging with pupils that love to learn, and make lessons fun and interesting.

I try to make my lessons rich in information, to challenge the student and improve self-belief. I like to use example-based teaching of tricky concepts, and to build up the student's confidence with reinforcement and empathy. I try to be as flexible as I can in my lessons, and to allow students to ask questions and discuss the things that interest them.
