I gained a 1st Class Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering and then went on to study for a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London (voted 10th in the 2019 Times global university rankings and 3rd in the UK). For 14 years I was a researcher at IC in a world class laboratory working on techniques to identify faults in engineering structures. After that I moved North and consulted on the safety of Nuclear Power stations for 3 years. I currently lecture engineering subjects such as math and structual mechanics.
I have experience as a private tutor of maths and physics at A level and maths and engineering sciences at first year under graduate level.
I have tutored undergraduates in Engineering
I volunteered as a maths tutor for under privileged school children at GCSE level
I have tutored a number of HE students privately since 2017.
I like to focus on students achieving competence in one topic each session.
