Taimoor K

Hi! My name is Taimoor and I specialise in Maths, Science and Spanish. I’m currently studying Criminology at University whilst also working part time in a school. I have experience in and out of classroom with various types of students including SEN. My lessons include a variety of activities to ensure students are active during the lesson. I work with KS1, KS2, KS3 and GCSE students.

I have been delivering tutor lessons for 3 years now and I have experience in teaching and delivering lessons. I have done cover work in schools and TA and also pastoral work. I have a DBS which is uploaded on the update service and a safeguarding certificate. I enjoy teaching and I make it a priority to communicate to students as I can relate to how students can feel under pressure by the educational system. I create a safe and comfortable environment for students and work around their strengths and weaknesses.

I ensure to plan my lessons beforehand and personalise them to the students abilities. Generally with my new students, I aim to test their abilities first, in order for me to know what level they are working on, and to progress from there.
