I am a Student at the University of Liverpool, studying Town and Regional Planning (pathway from geography). I am dedicated and committed to tutoring, doing my best to make sure that everything I do can benefit the person I am working with. I like to tutor using different teaching methods, firstly I like to understand how someone learns whether that be audibly for example, then adapt my teaching to cater for their needs. I also enjoy using interactive programmes such as Kahoot to engage the student I am working with.

I am currently working with two GCSE geography students. I enjoy the sessions that I provide as I feel they are improving and working towards a higher level, I find this incredibly rewarding.

I like to structure my lessons with lots of different activities. I like to review content and consolidate it, ways I do this include taking notes and telling me what they know, then letting them write a past question or complete a quiz for example. On the first session I like to get to know the student and to understand their preferred learning method with an introductory PowerPoint.

I have worked with a few different Exam boards including WJEC, AQA and Edexcel.

I am Currently tutoring my first two students. The feedback I have from them are that they enjoy my sessions and feel they are beneficial.
